Whey Protein for uric acid patient?
My Brother is diagnosed with level 8 uric acid. He has started working out, can he take protein supplement like Whey Protein? If he can, is there any other food necessary to balance the protein intake? Does Whey Protein have any side effects on him if he takes it?

All the protein in diet after getting metabolised, uric acid is the byproduct. When the protein intake increases, uric acid levels increases. So he needs medication to suppress the uric acid levels. Tab. Febuxostat 40mg once a day would be helpful. Drink plenty of fluids per day
