As per latest government guidelines RTPCR test is not mandatory for discontinuation of home isolation. Research has shown that the CoViD RTPCR test may come positive for upto 3 months as it may detect fragments of the dead virus.
Health Tips
A patient in home isolation is considered discharged after at least10 days from the onset of symptoms and no fever for 3 days. There is no need for testing after home isolation is the over.

Isolation not necessary. If it had been 10 days since his illness and if he is symptomfree for past three days, he can come out of isolation. No RTPCR needed Regarding medication, consult your doctor
