WHEN SMOKE FEEL LEFT CHEST PAIN
Dear Sir, I usually smoke 2 cigarettes a day & smoking at least for 3.5 years. The main question is that now whenever i inhale smoke i feel minor chest pain in my left side. Wanna know that if any condition is going on with my left lung. My body is also producing white BULGUM for a month & in between i feel breathing problem which now is ok ok. Please let me know what is happening.

Hi As you have chest pain when you smoke, try to avoid smoking for long run. That's good for your health and also your loved ones. As a young person cessation of smoking have maximum benefits for you. Kindly keep in your mind. Regarding the pain you need investigations and physical examination. Take a chest x-ray and review. You could have chronic bronchitis due to smoking. Please stop smoking and see a pulmonologist. If you continue to smoke, the problem is going to worsen over time.

Hi. I understand your concern s. You are having bronchitis due to smoking. Stop smoking and you will need to undergo a pulmonary function test which is needed for the diagnosis as well as to assess severity of bronchitis based on which treatment can be started. Consult a pulmonologist for the same at the earliest.
