When should I go for angiography?
My father visited one doctor and he recommended for few blood parameters and ECG and TMT. My father's all blood parameters like cholesterol, TG, lipid are in range. He had very mild chest pain in last stage of TMT. Doctor has written "TMT positive for RMI". Should I go for Anfiograohy and Angioplasty for my Father

Changes in the electrocardiogram show a low oxygen supply to the heart muscle; You develop trouble breathing or chest pain; Your heart rate, blood pressure or both fails to increase adequately during exercise; The results of a TMT test show that some areas of your father's heart are not receiving enough oxygen during exercise so there must be a blockage in the blood supplying vessel which can be only tested to be sure by angiography. Which just shows how much blockage is there... And only if the blockage is more than 70% only then angioplasty is done.... So I would advise you to get his angiography done asap
