What to eat and precautions after iui

I have gone thorugh iui procedure 3 days before. My question is how many days have to be in relation to improve chances of conceiving. And what will be the diet according to my health condition. Diabetic and hypothyroid and pcos. Can I eat chicken or not. Please reply.
