What is the purpose of HBOC Panel test?
One of my relative ( female) had Rt Brca.
It's now 10 year since it occurred . Recently completed Harmon therapy.
Doxtor has now prescribed to go for HBOC panel test. Since the treatment is over what's the purpose of such expensive test ? Is it for research purpose? Or any further treatment for patient or any family members of genetic...?Thx to help

What was the age in which she was diagnosed disease and what was her marker status - ER , PR and HER 2 .
Was she confirmed to have BRCA mutation positive ?
Yes it definitely may have significance , since getting full picture will help family members and she can also prevent further malignancy by taking proper prophylactic measures.
