What is olmin 10 mg is used for. My doctor has given me. I am 31 years male . Diagnosed wid diabetes 2. My bp is normal. Sugar is also slowly getting controlled. Bt my doctor has given me olmin 10 mg I checked on Google it's showing its for high bp. Bt my bp is fine.

I am surprised why you havent you asked the same question to the doctor who prescribed you the medication because only he has a clear idea about the reason behind the prescription . yes this medication is used for reducing blood pressure as well as kidney protection in people with diabetes, even when the blood pressure is normal. If you say your BP is normal, it might be the second reason you might have been started on the tablets. Again , as I said, its just a presumption as your doctor is the one who knows the best .
