What is  chronic non specific proctitis
I have done recently colonoscopy and rectal mucosal biopsy shows lamina propria shows edema and moderate infiltrate of lymphocytes and plasma cells. no granuloma or crypt abscess seen.there are no dyplastic changes. IMPRESSION :CHRONIC NON SPECIFIC PROCTITIS. Can it be cured is it a serious condition .please clarify sir/mam.
