What are the different types of laceration
I am an 18 year old girl and I met with an accident last night. I have been hearing my doctors use the term “laceration” over and over and what I come to know of it is that it means uneven cut wounds. They have been using other serious sounding terms as well and I am just beginning to panic. My wounds are deep and scary. I would like to know the types of laceration and how they are treated. I just hope I don’t end up completely being stitched up. That will be awful. Can someone help me with simpler details?
