My grandma has Facial Nerve Palsy. I’m an 18 year old girl and I came to know recently that it can affect people through genes. I would like to know what the Facial Nerve Palsy causes are. Is there any way in which I can stop that from affecting me? Are there preventive measures that I can incorporate in my daily life?

There are many causes of facial nerve palsy. It is not inherited though. There are no preventive measures per se but if you're immunity is good then chances of facial nerve palsy by infections is less.
