Left vocal cord palsy
Suffering from left vocal cord palsy from last 2 months. Consulted 2 dr's. I told to take medicine for a month. Other told to go for phonosurgery. Dont know what to do. How to get my voice back. Plz help

I would suggest along with medical treatment, you should also consult some voice therapist. Voice therapy in vocal cord palsy has very good outcomes. Please consult your ENT before considering any option.

If no cause is found, for the vocal cord palsy, the you can wait for 3 to 6 months. There is a possibility of partial to complete recovery in this period. Phonosurgery is recommended only if there's no recovery in 6 months

First of all you should get detailed investigation to know the exact cuse of vocal cord palsy. This included CT scan of head, neck and chest. If nothing wrong comes it is supposed to be idiopathic that means no cause detected.
Next Steps
There is no medicine to improve your voice. Voice therapy is the only treatment. You can wait till 6 months. Sometimes with voice therapy it improves in 6 months.
