What are reason for white spot on body

Hi my son is 5.5 yrs old. Since 1 month I have noticed that there are some white spots on his body, especially face and hands. He is a fussy eater and does not eat much of fruits and vegetables. What could be the reason of these white spots? What treatment is recommended?
