What are effects of stop smoking

I am 43 years old male. I was a smoker since almost 15 years of my age. I used to smoke at least 6 cigarettes a day. Since 3 days I am trying to stop smoking and I am getting terrible headaches. I want to know what will be the effects of stopping smoking? Please let me know so that i prepare myself accordingly.

there can be several side effects since you are used to it. but if you have decided to quit please stick to your positive decision. headache, moodswings, sweating anxiety may occur
