If a wet urine cloth stays for 2 hours on a newborn baby is it safe? Because pediatricians are suggesting to use cotton cloth instead of diapers.
Cotton clothes are not going to hold more than one pee.
If the baby is sleeping can I wake up and change the cotton cloth when it pees every time. If I do like this it affects the baby's sleep.
Kindly let me know the solution.

The longer you keep your baby wet, more are the chances of it developing a rash. Diaper use is safe, but when soiled with stools, please change it early as the diaper will not soak all of it. Also change the diaper frequently, as soon as it starts feeling heavy. Cotton cloth is the best option to prevent rashes but the whole idea is that it is changed frequently with every urine
