My son is 5m and 20d old. His birth weight was 3.1 kg. Now his weight is 6.1 kg. Would like to know about his health. Does he come in underweight category?

Hello.... You should give anything to child other than breast milk until 6 months. ... If he had any infections that could stunt his growth... Infections like repeated diarrhea or respiratory tract infection could cause failure to thrive.. Consult pediatrician for evaluation of malnutrition.
