Weight gain
M having depression and bpd.  I am having flunil 60 and olimelt 2.5 mg since 3 month. I have gained 6 kg weight. Is it due to olimelt? I am also having betacap tr 60. What is the use of this medicine.

It could be,but you should not stop it abruptly.You should meet your psychiatrist or do online consultation to change it to other medications if weight gain is bothering you. Betacap TR Is usually given for Palpitations,Anxiety symptoms if you have any.

Yes , Olimelt (Olanzapine) is the culprit for weight gain.And Betacap (Propranolol) is used for anxiety symptoms in psychiatric disorders and some of the other conditions in medical reasons.
