Am18and wearing spectacles since age of 10.in beguning it was -1.50 which decreases to -0.75 in next few years but in recent year it has increased to -4.5 for both eyes.while using glasses i sometimes feel complete darkness which lasts for few seconds.during that time i am unable to stand on feet.Is it somthing serious

hey, block out of vision ,it can due to so many causes , do you loose conscious during that time ? it looks like serious problem you better consult physician once
