Weakness with paralysis
My father had stroke on nov 2016 i.e 18 months ago n he has his right side paralized with speech loss then.No significant improvement. His physi is on , he can stand with support. But from past 3-4 days he is very silent, losing control over urine,not able to do exercises properly, he is unable to write with corect spelling unlike earlier, today when i told him to write his name ..he even could not remember his name though he tried a lot.Please help me.cant understand what is happening to him?

He is showing signs of dementia. Get a detailed neurological evaluation done and if required a brain MRI to look for any worsening of the disease and get treated accordingly. Best regards.
