After having typhoid, it's common to feel weak and fatigued as your body requires time to heal. Consuming the right foods can help in a quicker recovery, particularly those high in protein, which is important for regaining strength and repairing tissues. • You can consume foods like moong dal khichdi, which is light and easy to digest; dal soups made from moong or masoor dal for protein; soft paneer cubes for extra added protein and calcium; boiled egg or egg omlette if you consume eggs, as they are gentle on the stomach; and chicken broth or boiled chicken for non-vegetarians, which is nourishing and supports recovery. • You can also make your meals nutrient dense by adding nuts and some ghee to your meals for healthy fat content. These foods are soft, simple, and filled with nutrients which will help the body during recovery. Consume small, frequent meals and stay hydrated with plenty of fluids like coconut water and buttermilk. Steer clear of oily, spicy, and street foods until you regain your strength. If your weakness continues for over a month, please consult your doctor.
