My partner and I recently tested positive for hsv2 can we have normal sex or are there certain precautions we must take now?

Hsv2 is sexually transmitted disease already both affected .Better donot do intercourse till complete relief because it is precancerous.Meet to gynaecologist and take medicine for this both of you.
