My Daughter is of 4 and half months old. Now that it is Summer, can I give little water to my baby?
If no, may I know the reason?
If yes, how much ml/spoon and in how many intervals?

Most of the water requirement is already provided by milk. However if you do want to give the baby water it should be boiled and cooled and you should not give more than a few teaspoonfuls at a time and not more than 2-3/day as it doesn’t contain any salts (electrolytes).
Health Tips
If the baby is feeding formula she can just have more formula as needed or an extra breast feed instead of just giving water as formula milk will have added electrolytes.
