Was on TB medicine

Asked for Female, 45 Years

My friend completed her TB course(7months) 10 days back and she took out LFT result. Every thing in the report is normal except Serum globulins 3.8mg/dl (range is 2-3.5) Ratio 0.89 (range is 1.2-2.5) please help what does this mean.

Tuberculosis medications are multi drug therapy including 4-5 medicines depending upon the protocol . Some of those Medications affect liver and here if the serum globin , as you say is 3.8 that's just 0.3 mg/dl more than the upper normal range so it's nothing to worry about , and same with the ratio. Keep in touch with primary consulting Physician with those reports and have a routine basis follow up.
