I want to a suggestion, my problem was of irregular periods or 45 days cycle rather than 30 days(was having PCOD in past), so showed to doc as I want to plan my family in future but she recommended me unwanted21 & 2 times glyciphague 500 after my meals n this she recommended for 3 months so I am confused why she recommended me unwanted21 when I want to plan baby in future & is this prescription for my problem is in right direction or not???

In PCOD, the basic hormonal abnormality is abnormal ovulation and increased sercreation of androgens from ovary. Oral contraceptive pills are given to correct these abnormalities. You are also taking metformin and it is given to reduce insulin resistance. In PCOD if you want to conceive then you should have decreased level of androgens so that endometrium can be receptive. I will also say that the treatment of PCOD depends on the symptoms. So you can ask clearly from your health care provider regarding the future plan.

Go and ask for the indication. It may be to improve the androgen level first and then plan for fertility.
