Walamycin and walamycin ds
Hi Experts,
My baby is 4 months old wt around 7 kgs.
She is having loose stool and stomach discomfort for past 15 20 days.
I got the stool test done and it had mucus + and polymorphonuclear leukocytes 5 to 7 hpf.
We gave entroflora probiotics(prescribed by doctor) for 5 days and got the stool test done again and it also has pus cells 6 to 10 hpf.
Doctor has prescribed walamycin ds but we missed to check and in lack of availability we gave walamycin 3 doses already. Now they have prescribed taxim o because of lack of availability of walamycin ds. Please suggest what should I do.
Wanted to know if I should continue walamycin or start taxim o in between.
Sorry for long query.
