VSD heart problem.
16 days baby have problem in heart. His have VSD size 5mm left to right shunt. Baby waight is 2.97kg. I want to know this is serious problem or normal? Baby need operation?

Yes significant problem. Will need assessment by paediatric cardiologist to decide about the timing of procedure. If there is CH failure, failure to thrive , repeated chest infection or Aortic regurgitation then surgery is needed soon . If not then can wait till baby is 10 kg
