after 2 episodes of vomiting wait for one hour then give vomiting medicine (syp ondem/emeset) 5ml and then again wait for one hour and then give only easily digestible food. do not give anything to eat in this 2hr waiting period. if vomiting occurs again then meet your doctor. avoid giving milk and heavy diet. vomit usually occurs due to gastritis
Next Steps
for fever as well as pain kindly give paracetamol according to the weight of child as well as according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having and paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day and also do body sponge to decrease the surface temperature. also when u take temperature in the armpit of the child and it is 100 or more then only consider it as fever and give paracetamol. higher medicines for fever like ibugesic and mefenamic has to be given only after medical consultation. after giving fever medicines you can wait for maximum 3 days and then meet your doctor if it is not improving. keep the child in cool atmosphere
