Vocal cord polyp can occur because of excessive use of voice or abuse ( like shouting or using too much voice like someone's work demand - teacher/singer) If the diagnosis is a confirmed vocal polyp you will need a surgery called Microlaryngeal Surgery (MLS) by which the polyp is completely removed..

Health Tips

in case of Vocal polyp and hoarseness for 6 months , the earlier surgery better it is.
