Vitiligo spots seen on hands

Asked for Male, 27 Years

I have observed few white spots/patches on my hands and fingers which I suspect to be vitiligo spots. I want to know if this can be prevented from occurring at other parts of the body by treatment now. If treatable, should I be visiting a Dermatologist or Homeopathy Doctor for treatment. Pics of the spots/patches has been attached for reference.
