Hi... There are few white patches on fingers, by consulting with doctor, he confirmed it is vitiligo..I have this patches from last two months, please suggest generally how fast it will spread on other parts of the body, and is it helpful to drink water in a copper vessel in this condition...

Thanks for the query. Vitiligo is an auto immune condition with long term treatment plans. Lip and hands/feet is a difficult area to treat and most resistant. Medical therapy is the first line management including addressing the comorbidities. It takes a couple of weeks to arrest the disease activity and a couple of more weeks to refill colour in the patches. A year long treatment is usual. All the best.
