Vitamin D and kidney stones
From last 5 weeks I am taking Vitamin D3 60,000 IU because my vitamin D was too low. I am also suffering from kidney stones in my both kidneys. Recently, i read an article which states that high doses of vitamin D can increase the risk of kidney stones or can make your current stones bigger. Is it true? Should I talk to my General physician about it? I need some suggestions from kidney experts.

Were you ever evaluated for your kidney stones? Was anytime your urine calcium excretion measured? Studies on your question have conflicting results with some showing no risk of increased calcium excretion in urine and some showing a risk
Next Steps
I would advise you to check your 24 hour urine calcium excretion and based on that your therapy can be tailored
