Vitamin B12
I did Vitamin B12 random test and it's 224.5pg/mL. I have gastric problem and gets tired heartbeat increases if I do physical work. Is all related? Should I see a doctor. I also get too much of sweating when face people

Hi there.. your vitamin b12 levels are lower limit of normal. Your all symptoms are related to this.. Vitamin b12 is very important vitamin playing major roles in our body needed for red blood cell synthesis, dna synthesis, many metabolic process in our body. It's deficiency could be due to many causes like malabsorption, dietary deficiency( if your vegan or vegetarian who doesn't consume meat or diary or any animal products), chronic alcoholic, chronic use of antacid agents.. it's symptoms include weakness, dry skin, tiredness, or lightheadedness,Heart palpitations and shortness of breath,Pale skin (anemia), A smooth tongue,Constipation, diarrhea, a loss of appetite,Nerve problems like numbness or tingling, muscle weakness, and problems walking,Mental problems like depression, memory loss, or behavioral changes.. Treatment includes avoid alcohol, avoid antacids, dietary supplements in form of b-complex tablets, have vit b12 rich foods like milk ,milk products, meat, chicken, eggs. Hope this helped you..
