Vit d syrup dosage
Does vit d syrup cause itching in kids? I have been giving my 5 year old daughter 2ml of 1000 IU syrup since last 2 days. Can anyone guide if it causes itching and if the dosage is correct.

If vit d deficiency u need to continue with same dosage otherwise 600IU. And vitamin d will not cause itching it's just a coincidence.. consultant online

Your giving very less dosage 2ml is not sufficient, give 4ml daily. It won't causes any itching

No, it doesnt cause itching unless allergic reaction to the medication (mostly with a rash) Maintenance dose is 600 IU/ day

Greetings it won't cause any itching, it can be due to other reasons kindly consult.dose for the treatment of vit d  is 4 ml
