Hi,
I am 31 year old male. I had my Contoura Vision Lasik surgery 1 month ago. I am putting tear drops 4-6 times daily in my eyes. Whenever I see lights, I see light scattering( perhaps they are called halos). Light scattering is seen everywhere. The street lights scatter, car headlights while driving at night. Even I see light scattered rings at the temperature display at the AC LED display.
My operating doctor says that the pupils get dilated during surgery and these side effects are permanent.
Please suggest if these visual disturbances are permanent or will I be able to drive comfortably at night again? Also, when will eye dryness subside? Is it also permanent?
Regards.
