Viral myocarditis
I came down with viral myocarditis late last year following a very bad case of coxsackievirus. I had a lot of inflammation around my heart, but thankfully it was caught in time and a high dose ibuprofen regimen worked for me. Symptoms resolved. For the last 3 weeks I’ve had a viral upper respiratory illness that won’t go away. My sed rate from blood work from last week was 36, and I feel like I have pressure in my chest again. Could I be more susceptible to relapse from ordinary viruses?
