Viral conjunctivitis
Suffering from eye problem(redness, itchiness, wateryeyes and running nose) from Apr 3rd 2020 ,used chlorophenemacol eye apply caps for 5 days from Apr 10 To 15apr, problem gone but vision was not clear though problem solved.. Again after 5 days from 20th Apr the same eye issue started, this time observed light Bloodstains while cleaning eye with soft tissues, also there is a Small gadda near ear, took online consultation, explained the symptoms along with eye pics with doctor, she diagnosed it as viral conjunctivitis and said it might take 15-20 days to recover from issue .precribed some eye drops and started using since yesterday .execpt some relief from itchiness the problem is same now. My concern is ,is viral conjunctivitis a serious issue with the symptoms I have, will it take further 15-20 days to recover or else it gets cured in 2-3 days because it started 20days before itself. Will it affect my eyesight, I have 3months old babies plz advise me to get out this ASAP.

Hello, yes it will take some time to clear completely. Its not a serious issue but can spread to others. 1. Importantly,  as you mentioned you have baby, KEEP WASHING YOUR HANDS as you touch baby in order to avoid spread. 2. If you are worried about vision or feel vision is blurred you can consult eye clinic as cornea may have involved  but again nothing to worry. It will settle slowly
Next Steps
use meds as prescribed
Health Tips
wash your hands

Virsl conjunctivitis Needs to be handled with care. It is contagious . Use cotton to wipe and dispose it Wash hands frequently Do not touch your eyes U have to be started on an antibiotic steroid drops and that has to be done only after a ete specialist sees you Please see an eye specislist now Dont worry It can be cured . But eye specialist has to see you personally
