Now a days,our exposure to sunlight is very less,so most of the people are deficient in vitamin D . In our practice only two out ten patients are found to be desired vitamin D levels. I will suggest you to supplement vitamin D 3. Doses and frequency will depend on how much is the level of vitamin D. Please share reports through Practo chat or practo consultation. Very low vitamin d levels causes Jt Pains, fatigue, hairfall and sometimes depressive or mood changes.
Vitamin d is there in egg, fish, and meat.
Best source is exposure to morning sunlight.
Supplementation with vitamin d increases it temporarily but sun exposure should be done regularly at least 30min to get sufficient amount.
Vitamin d is needed in various metabolic activities.
Causes are many but u have to supplement it immediately.
Take to any general physician and take calcium with vit d supplement.
High cholesterol must be treated immediately.
Blood fpr T3 T4 TSH must be measured.
