Vernal kerato conjunctivitis
I am using hydro eyes eye drops and refresh tears for vkc from past 1 month can i continue hydro eyes in this situation also as it is an immunosuppressant and my doctor recommended it to me because my symptoms get relief after using hydroryes my question is can i use hydroeyes in this time also?

You can continue with hydroeyes
Please avoid exposure to sun,use gaugles,dont sit facing towards the ac ,do ice capping,avoide spicy food.also avoid rubbing the eyes.

You can continue using hydroeyes twice a day for now until u can visit an ophthalmologist physically.
This season can be particularly challenging for people with vkc.
Develop a habit of washing your eyes with water every time u return home from outside (including terrace or balcony). Ac can also be the cause sometimes.

You can continue hydroeyes and your refresh tear drop at present. But you have to consult your primary doctor as it is immunosuppression it is to be tapered slowly and finally we can remove it .
And you are going to be only on refresh tears. But this is to be done under supervision of your ophthalmologist.

Cyclosporine 0.05 can be used as one of last resort to treat VKC
We need to see the extend of papillary reaction
Cornea involvement...
I advise not to rub eyes anytime
If there is response and decrease of papillary reaction
Can shift to other safe drugs like alcaftadine or bepotastine or fml if there is severe blurring or hypersensitivity due to its use
We need to do slit lamp examination of your eye
But hydroeyes and refresh tears combination is safe drug to use
Please do cold compression twice a day to reduce inflammation even further
