Vernal conjunctivitis

My son got detected with vernal conjunctivitis, he is getting itching and redness in eye. we had consulted with eye specialist and got to know that this is allergy, have consulted with homeopathic doctor and he got some relief from that but still itchiness and redness is persistent. please advise.

Hello 1. There is no permanent cure for VKC 2. This will recur with change in weather every year till age of 16 yrs 3. Prevention... Avoid rubbing, cold compresses 4. Treatment a.mild antiallergic like olopat eyedrop twice daily b. Lubricating eyedrop like flogel thrice daily c. Mild steroid like flurisone in pulse dose in severe cases

Anti allergy drops winolap 2 times a day for a week .tears plus eye drops 4 times a day for week.consult ophthalmologist. No homeopathic medicine....
