Venlafaxine Causing Psychosis?
I’ve been on Venlafaxine for almost two months. I started with 37.5 mg for two weeks and switched to 75 mg after that. As my depression begins to fade away for the first time in months, I am beginning to be able to function properly. The only problem is as of recently while I am getting ready for bed, I have started to hallucinate. I see shadows of people on walls and hear faint noises that sound far away. I don’t hallucinate during the day; I have intrusive thoughts. Any advice would be great.

Hii there Gud to hear that you are able to function properly. Don't worry about these hallucinations as it could be normal phenomenon. Some hallucinations are considered to be normal variation of human life, these are called hypnogogic and hypnopompic hallucinations which are encountered while going to sleep and when getting up from sleep.
Next Steps
If it persists for a longer time or occurs during day time consult a psychiatrist.
