Veener pros and cons
Hey doctor, I wanted to know that if I go for the veener treatment, will that affect my healthy teeth. I heard that tooth becomes sensitive to cold and hot beverage . also I heard that we need to replace veeners after a span of time and they are quite fragile. kindly help me finding a solution.

Hai...no dental treatments create problems as such...so sensitivity if occurs also it will vanish soon...and regarding life of veneers depends on tooth,type of veneer, maintenance etc etc...so please carry on without fear and do clarify all your doubts with your doctor before getting a treatment done...

Well fabricated and designed veneers generally wouldn't leave your teeth sensitive . Maintenance of any dental treatment can prolong the life of the same , so wouldn't have to necessarily change them if you keep the surrounding tissue healthy

Hello. Pros of veneers are that they give a very esthetic and natural feel to the teeth. They require very less tooth preparation hence root canal is not required in teeth, they help in changing the tooth colour and ceramic veneers don't stain. Cons are that sometime veneers can cause sensitivity which may last for a few months, they are expensive, care needs to be taken while eating from front teeth.  Happy to help. Dr Zankhana Mody Mohile
