For my two years and seven months old son we got vaccination done for influenza yesterday, From today morning we are seeing runny nose and cold, Is that expected to see this side effects for influenza vaccine ?

Hello.
Yes, some kids have side effects post influenza vaccination ( cough, cold or fever). It can remain till 48hrs ane then should go.
Just give supportive medications and monitor.
