Vaccination IPV
My daughter is one week short of 4 Months. We could not get IPV vaccination done at14th week. She was given OPV at birth; OPV and IPV at 6 weeks; OPV and IPV at 10 th week and OPV at 14 th week I.e on 7th Feb. The local govt hospital has suggested that we wait for 1 month and then give IPV on 7th March as otherwise OPV effect will be negated. Is it correct? What is the correct time to give this IPV dose that was missed?

OPV and IPV are not usually administered at the same time. As per the new guidelines, OPV is given at birth and subsequently IPV can be given at 6, 10 and 14 weeks. Even if baby has received at least 2 doses of IPV, that will suffice.
