UTI moved to back

Asked for Female, 38 Years

I got a really bad UTI about 2 weeks ago and was prescribed macrobit (sp?), which generally works really well for me. I get them about once year. However, I was very bad a did not take the antibotic as scheduled or very often, also drank alcohol a few nights in there. And now it's a different problem. Very bloated, pain in my lower abdomen, pain in my back, frequency, but no burning. Should I continue on the course of macrobit or try something different? I have probably 6-8 of them left.

Symptoms look like of UTI but similar symptoms can also arise out of pelvic inflammation (PID). Consult nearby gynecologist or urologist. Get urine test ( routine, microscopic and culture/ sensitivity). If symptoms are quite frequent , then you required detailed evaluation of urine and genital tract.
