UTI: Klebsiella, 18weeks 1day pregnant
I was diagnosed with urinary tract infection, impression: Klebsiella pneumoniae, count: 1,00,000 CFU/ml I am 18weeks 1 day pregnant Doctotor has advised pantocid 40mg and Faropenem ER 300 twice a day for 1 week... Are these medicines safe to take in pregnancy as i can read on google its says its not safe.. I have attached my reports Urine color: pale yellow Apperance: clear Specific gravity- 1.015 Ph: 7.0 Protein, glucose, ketones, blood and bilirubin: not detected..

You can take amoxiclave or nitrofurantoin for 10 days.Both of them are safe in pregnancy
