My friend didnt had her periods so her mom took her to doctor where after checkup she was told that she can never concieve as the uterus is absent. She was even told that after an operation she can lead a normal married life but can not be a mother. Are there any methods which can be done for the concieving??

Hi..., Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser (MRKH) syndrome is a rare disorder that affects women. It is characterized by the failure of the uterus and the vagina to develop properly in women who have normal ovarian function and normal external genitalia.... females with MRKH syndrome do not have a functional uterus, they cannot bear children (infertile). However, some affected women have been able to have a child by using in vitro fertilization of their own eggs and surrogate pregnancy....
