Hi..my wife has 2 fibroids in the interior and exterior walls..We have a 6 yr old daughter. ..I hav consulted some gynecologists', some say its not harmful, whereas some say it needs to be removed via advanced laprascopy. .She is experience intermittent pain in the lower abdomen as well as abnornal periods. Fibroids give two problems one abdominal pain n heavy menses. If ur wife is experiencing any if those then surgery is the only option. Surgery can be done by laparoscopy with discharge in 24 hrs

Hi, treatment of fibroids depend on symptoms and profile of patient. Also if you want more children. Laparoscopic operation nowadays is quite safe in expert hands. I advise you to take a second opinion with her reports in a tertiary care Hospital
