Uterus cancer
She had got USG whole abdomen scan and that report stated endometrial echo is is midline, thickened for post menopausal status and measures 11mm. A 7×5 mm cystic area is seen in endometrial canal. So we got biopsy done and the biopsy report states hyperplastic Endometrial Polyps with Foci of Atypia. Can you please explain what does this mean and how to go ahead with it.

Biopsy is suggestive of endometrial polyp with Atypia. This means she has stage prior to cancer which can turn to cancer in future and also the biopsy is done on smaller part of endometrium and there is risk of cancer in other part of endometrium. I would suggest u to repeat biopsy or proceed with surgical removal of uterus
