Using glycomet tablets for pcos

Im having pcos... doctor gave me glycomet tablet...I have used it for 15days... doctor said that it's a 6months course...I'm feeling tensed I may have diabetes by using...can I test my glucose levels...???pls tell me...I'm Soo scared...
