I just want to ask that does KUB ultrasound also includes ultrasound of prostate gland cause it is not specifically mentioned in the bill but was prescribed along with kidney

KUB majorly includes Kidney Ureter and Bladder. But also mentions briefly size of prostate.

For a detailed imaging of prostate, you need to do Trans rectal ultra sonography (TRUS).

Health Tips

If you any urinary complaints or any growth is suspected, you can get a PSA test done before the TRUS, as the scan might falsely elevate the results.
