Usg-obs result shows less amniotic fluid
Hi, I'm currently 29 weeks and 5 days pregnant. I did a usg-obs scan along with doppler test today and the result shows I have less amniotic fluid around 7.9. I was advised to take more water, fresh juice and high water content foods and to be on bed rest for now. I have also started IV to increase amniotic fluid (Iv for 5 days). Fetal weight as per latest scan report says Bpd 77mm Hc 278mm Ac 231mm FL 56mm Efw 1260 grams Kindly advise on whether the baby weight is ok as per the gestational age and whether I can increase the fluid level effectively with 5 days of iv.

Weight of the baby does not matter It is the weeks that dominance circumference is corresponding to is important You need to understand that the amniotic fluid cannot be increased by increasing maternal fluid intake or iv fluids The fluid around the baby is because of the babys urine sweat and excretion For a Prescription that may help to enhance amniotic fluid you can connect online
